Personal precautions: In cases of gases – Ventilation. Breathing apparatus compulsory. Use personal protective clothing. Keep people away and stay on the upwind side. |

Environmental Precautions: Neutralise with Alkali (Lime caustic soda). Do not discharge into the subsoil/soil directly. |

Methods for cleaning up/taking up: Take up with absorbent material (e.g acid binder). Flush away residues with water. Dispose off collected material carefully. Send in suitable containers for recovery or disposal. See also section C.b |
